Notes on Fox Island

One bridge on and one bridge off. Quiet island roads, water on every side, and a short drive back to Gig Harbor for errands.

People choose Fox Island for the quiet. There is one way on and off, over the bridge across Hale Passage, and that single fact shapes daily life more than anything else: fewer passing cars, a slower pace, and a little more planning for errands.

Homes range from older cabins to new waterfront builds. On waterfront lots the questions are practical: how high is the bank, can you get down to the beach, and what do the bulkhead and the septic look like.

I like to bring buyers here mid-morning, after the commuters have gone, so you see the island the way you would on a normal weekday.
