Home / Tour day for relocating buyers
A tour day: learn the peninsula in one Saturday
Tell me where you work, what you need and when you will be here. I send back a route through the neighborhoods that fit, with houses to walk through and your commute driven at your hour.
Before you fly in
A 20-minute call about work, budget, school district, pets, space and the things you will not compromise on. Then I draft a route and send it to you to edit.
The day itself
We start where the roads are quietest, see the neighborhoods in driving order, stop for lunch on the water and walk through the homes that are worth your time.
The commute test
If you will cross the Narrows Bridge to work, we drive it at the hour you would. A map can't tell you what 7:15 on a Tuesday feels like.
Afterwards
A short written note the same evening: what you liked, what you didn't, and the two or three places worth a second look.
Still out of state?
We can do the whole day by live video, and I will walk the streets and the houses for you.

Common questions
Do I have to sign anything before a tour day?
Before I show you homes I will ask you to sign a short written buyer agreement, as current rules require. I walk through it with you line by line, including how I am paid.
How long is a tour day?
Usually most of a day with a lunch stop. We set the length together when we plan the route.
Can my kids or my partner join by video?
Yes. Plenty of families split up for the first visit.
Plan a tour day.
Tell Signe where you'll work and what you need. A draft route comes back the same day.
